The NFCA's Fraternal Advisory Committee is working to better define "fraternal" and would like the Fraternal Section's help in reviewing their work to date.

Draft definitions of fraternal and community benefit are available for your review.

Judit, Catholic Aid doesn't have this capability right now. We are looking into
increased use of web by our members but I t hink we're a ways away from
getting this highly targeted with the messages. Keep us posted. Thanks!

Catholic Knights does not have this capability currently. It is something we hope to explore next year.

Does any of the fraternal societies have an online community builder on their website where members can create their profiles, interact with each other, form groups based on their role in the lodge system (eg. secretaries/records directors' group, financial directors' group) or based on a specific interest, like a "quilt group", "heritage group", "youth group", "youth camp alumni", etc.? I would be curious to see if anything similar to this NFCA community exists at the members’ level within a society and if they find it successful in strengthening the "common bond" among their members.
